Our private mediated playgroups are a safe and effective way of socializing your precious pup. With access to a completely private, large scale dog park for targeted one-on-one training, as well as supervised free play with the other Happy pups Playgroup approved dogs, Patti has created an oasis of fun and learning hidden right in the heart of Kentfield. The dogs can enjoy a canopy of shady trees, paw friendly ground cover, small playful obstacles, and for the hottest of dog-days, even a baby pool and sprinkler! Say goodbye to the worries of weather related issues, foxtails, ticks, or poison oak and say hello to peace of mind! This option is open to dogs of all ages and special needs - including deaf, blind, skittish, and seniors, however a safety assessment may be needed.
A curated and well-behaved group of older dogs is the best way to socialize your puppy. Happy pups, happy life dogs are first and foremost taught mutual respect, not to bark during play, and they do not over correct. Adult dogs with established good behaviors who are mainstays of the Happy pups, happy life family are incredibly patient and welcoming of new puppies in the group. Good social skills are a foundation of our training, and we believe that with this key element you and your pet can live a happy, healthy life.
Hikes, walks and bathroom breaks may all be available if the schedule permits, but are not routine at this time. Please don’t hesitate to ask what we can do to accommodate your needs. We understand that life can bring the unexpected and the relief of knowing your furry family member is well taken care of by someone you trust is important to us. Therefore, prices for these options may vary due individual circumstances. All services include travel time.

We’re happy to offer Doggie Daycare options for those days when you just can’t bear to leave your little guy alone. Your furry friend will accompany Patti on all her hikes, walks, playgroups & visits on Doggie Daycare days. The day is your adventure!

Puppy Training
Helping you build a special bond with your furry friend
Puppies need to learn how to be respectful pals on the trails. Our basic puppy training, which includes bite inhibition, basics like sit, stay and wait, and of course, going potty outside, is essential to a young dog's health and safety. With every puppy training program, your young furry friend will receive appropriately high energy attention while learning manners that will be valuable to you as an owner for a lifetime. Puppies develop quickly and their early days are very important, that's why we here at Happy pups, happy life assess the development of every puppy on a weekly basis, assuring you that your puppy is being challenged in their environment and tailoring their education to their own unique abilities. Because an assessment of their behavior is crucial to this process, puppy training packages can not be pre-priced. But please contact us below with a few details and we can work together to price a package that works for you and your new pup.
Behavior Modification Training
Behavior Modification Training is for ALL dogs. Rescues, adults and puppies alike can benefit from advanced training techniques. Depending on the level of behavior modification needed, these visits can not be pre-priced. We do offer consultation visits which includes a modification program designed specifically for your dog's needs as well as training sessions for the humans in the family to provide appropriate reinforcement education at home. We do not strive for perfection, but we do want all dogs to be able to live their best lives freely and safely.
Behavior Modification Consultations can range from $110 - $150 depending on the number of dogs and level of behavior modification needed. Advanced training packages are also available, please contact us with the button below to learn more.
